Tom Edwards holds the position of Managing Director in the Data and Analytics practice of EY’s US Tech Consulting division. Throughout his illustrious career, he has held multiple leadership roles including two stints each as a Chief Digital Officer and Chief Marketing Officer, and has also acted as the Chief Data Officer and Chief Innovation Officer.

Throughout his professional journey, he has gained experience from working in various domains such as start-ups, enterprise technology, data, innovation, and interactive marketing firms. Currently, he holds a position in one of the ‘Big Four’ consultancies. With his vast expertise, he serves as a reliable resource for a comprehensive range of areas including digital, marketing, innovation, product, and organizational design strategies.

Tom has been acknowledged as an industry expert by some of the world’s leading brands. His bold and fearless approach has earned him praise from Apple, while Nintendo lauds him for possessing an extraordinary level of expertise seldom seen in the industry. Hulu acknowledges him as a pioneer in the digital sphere, and Southwest Airlines recognizes him as a forward-thinker who continually challenges conventional norms. Tom Edwards has garnered numerous accolades for his exceptional contributions in the field of marketing and technology. Recently, he was honored as the Marketer of the Year 2022 by the Dallas Fort Worth Interactive Marketing Association. He’s a two-time recipient of the OnCon Top 10 Global Marketer award in 2022 and 2021. Moreover, in 2022, he was presented with the Marketing 2.0 Outstanding Leadership Award, listed among the top 10 most inspiring tech leaders to watch, and the previous year, he was named among the top 50 most influential business leaders in technology.

Previously, he received the title of Professional of the Year in Marketing & Emerging Technology by Strathmore Worldwide twice, in 2020 and 2019. He was also awarded as the Digital Marketing Professional of the Year at the CX Summit in 2020 and was the recipient of the Tech Titan Technology Advocate award in 2019. Tom’s other laurels include the OnCon Marketing Trailblazer Award and the OnCon Marketing Contributor for Thought Leadership Award, both in 2019. Tom currently serves as a Managing Director | Tech Consulting | Customer & Growth Data & Analytics at EY. Tom recently served as the Chief Digital & Data Officer at Omnicom Health Group. He also served as the Chief Digital & Innovation Officer for Epsilon’s agency business leading various functions including strategy and insights, AI practice, data scientists, creative technology, omnichannel practice, media, consulting, analytics, product development and innovation teams both domestic and international.

Prior to Epsilon, Tom was the Executive Vice President, Strategy and Innovation for Omnicom’s The Marketing Arm and Senior Vice President, Digital and Emerging Technology for Red Urban, part of DDB Worldwide. He previously served as Chief Marketing Officer for cloud-based social solution provider INgage networks.
